Lucy quietly sat there, listening on some occasions and on others just sort of thinking. Unfortunately with Jake she would have to take Peter's side (and possibly Ed's and Su's now). For some reason she just didn't like him as she thought about it; but had she ever liked him? She supposed to herself that as long as Susan was happy she would be happy even if she didn't like her boyfriend. Swinging her small legs that dangled since they were too short to touch the ground she looked up to Ed and Susan again, finally seeing Susan slowly coming around now. "Your bet is on. C'mon Su and Ed, let's go!" she chirped quickly in reply, sliding off the bench and quickly darting around people to get out of the depressing pub.

Edmund stared at Susan, listening to her words. So Jake would not lay a finger on him, that was good wasn’t it…his thoughts were to mixed up in his head to hear what else Susan said and then Lucy spoke up and Edmund’s eyes flashed to his younger sister. Edmund stood up as Lucy darted out of the pub, laughing dryly and followed the girl out into the street, Edmund’s horse was standing outside the pub. He grabbed Moon, stroking the old horse’s neck. ”Right then Lu, Su.” he said, smiling at his sisters. ”I am going to beat you!” he said laughing and mounted the horse, looking to his sisters. ”Oh come on!” his mood was much better now, maybe it was because of Lucy that he felt much happier.

Susan grinned at her siblings as she headed out of the pub and whistled for her steed, and he came forward boldly, and seemed very excited as she told him what was going on, he hadn't had a race in a while, and he always adored them. Susan mounted Storm swiftly, her smile staying on her lips, as she spoke to her brother and sister, "I wish you all luck. But Storm is a thoroughbred, and I know he will bring me to Cair Paravel fastest." Alright, she was saying a few things overboard, but that was what siblings did, and if she lost the race there would be no unhappiness, because she was happy just to be doing something fun with her siblings. Storm leaped forward at her urging, and they headed deep into the forest, leaping over the logs that were in the way, and Susan laughed as they did, she loved when they jumped over obstacles, it was so much fun. Susan glanced out of the corner of her eye to see if either of them were catching up with her, as Storm continued on, knowing the fastest ways to Cair Paravel, because he had journeyed through the woods often, in the hopes that he would be ridden by one of the Kings or Queens, and he had.
