Jonathan wandered through the streets, looking around for the local pub. He was stressed, especially after a hard day's training. New people, he thought with a shake of his head. They are always complaining. And indeed they were. He sighed and ran a hand over his black hair. His sapphire blue eyes were emotionless as he entered the pub. Jon glanced around before noticing that he got the attention of some of the girls. They were whispering as they looked at him. He shook his head and went to the counter.
Never in his wildest dreams did he thought that someone like him would be the commander of the guards. It was a job he loved and would never trade anything for it. He had worked long and hard for the position. The person behind the counter handed him some wine. He accepted with thanks and started drinking it, looking around the pub, enjoying the evening off.

Peter walked though the town of Beruna it was a great sunny day and he thought that he would stop and get a drink at the pub. He was so gald to get out of the castle, his head had been hurting all day after the big long "talk" with Akio. He loved the man but sometimes he could just drive you crazy. Peter put his hood up, so that no one could tell it was him. Once again if Akio found out he was here... he shook his head. He walked into the pub and looked around. He walked up and the person behind the desk gave him a beer. Peter walked to the rearest table and sat down. He looked over to see who it seemed to be Jonathan. He smiled. Jon had a good heart and was a great guy.

Jon was lost in his thoughts. His eyes were a light sapphire, meaning he did not want to share his thoughts wth anyone. He looked over and smirked, seeing the king. He stood and bowed, still smirking. "Your majesty," he said pleasently. "Its a surprise to see you up and about. I trust you are well?" Jon looked at him, wandering how he managed to get out of the palace without Akio noticing. The thought made his smirk widen. He ducked his head until he gotten control. He looked up. "And however did you manage to sneak out?"
[OOC: o.o um..what was the 'talk?' XD]

Peter nodded as Jon noticed that he was hear. "Yes, it is a had to get away from the castle, and yes i ma fine,". He smiled at his words,"Ah i just told Akio that i was going to bed and then i jumped out the window and Shadow was waiting there for me". Peter took another drink of his beer and waited for Jon to answer his question.

[OOC: hehe. thats more like him]
Jon's mouth twitched into a full smirk. He had to laugh straight out. "You know the man's going to know right? He has eyes everywhere." he sat down, trying to keep his laughter in. "But the man's only looking out for you, your majesty. He has your best interests at heart." he yawned as he stretched, almost exhausted after the day. Jon eyed him, wandering whether or not he wanted to a practice duel. He then shrugged mentally. A thought crossed his mind. "I saw something interesting today on the way for the field where I do my training. It was your brother and...." he grinned. "Akio's daughter"

Peter smiled,"Yes i know he just looking out for me, but i don't need him telling me evry second that i couldn't do something by myself". He could see that Jon was tried. Peter looked at him with the words that came out of his mouth. Ed and AKira? hmm he thought maybe his brother to was seeing him and Hey Peter did care if his brother was seeing someone, he would be happy for him. He looked abck to Jon,"Hmm thanks you Jon, Did you see them doing anything?" he asked waiting for the man to answer.

Jon propped his elbow on the table and glanced up at him, still smirking. "That's his nature though." he tried hard not to laugh again. It took every ounce of control for him not to. He then frowned. "Not that I could see. From where I was they were just talking. But its good though. And Akira is a nice girl." he shrugged. A smile played across his lips. "Your majesty," he said slowly with an evil smirk. "You won't be doing anything after would you? I won't mind haing a mock battle." there was an innocent tone to his voice.

Peter looked at Jon,"Yes, she is a nice girl..." he trailed off. He knew something was up between them and Peter was happy for his brother, that he had finally found someone. Peter smiled," Yes, Of course Jon how could I say no to that". He got up and waiting for him outside that pub door.

Jon laughed as he followed the king out. "I might go easy on you," he told him with twinkling eyes. "But don't count on it." he was unusally energetic after a days training. He would be downright tired. He turned to look back at the king as sounds of a fight reached his ears. A girl was distantly yelling. He chose to ignore it for the time being.

Peter smiled,"Well will just have to see about that". He too heard the sound og fighting and a girl yelling but Peter didn't think anything of it at this time. He walked over to Shadow and grabbed his sword and sheild. He gribbed the handle of the sword and pointed it at Jon. "Ready when you are". He waited for him too attack first.

Jon laughed as he walked over and pulled out his sword. His horse, Midnight, looked up at him as she tossed her smoky mane aside. He shook his head as he walked over to stand in front of Peter. Gripping his sword hilt, he brought it up to the guard position and lunged forward with the tip pointed at him. He suppose he would go easy on the king. Maybe not, Jon thought with an evil grin.

The sound of metal boomed in the still air of Beruna. Peter couldn't help but smile. Peter lifted his shield just as Jon attack, and metal hit metal. Peter swond his sword at Jon. Peter remmeberd the times when him and Ed spent many days out of the castle fighting. It had been fun. But now it seemed that Ed didn't talk to him much anymore. Maybe this thing that Aslan taked about was for the good and it was meant to bring his famliy closer, i mean it would if some one "died".

Jon jumped back with a laugh. His sword slammed into Peter's. This was relaxing for him to do after training. "Unlike you I don't need a shield your majesty," Jon shouted, laughing. His eyes twinkled with mischief. "I use my sword to block. Something the new trainers don't know how to yet," those were hard times for him. He had found that his left arm-his sword arm-started to hurt a few days ago. But it was simply an old battle wound he had received. Annoying thing at times.

Peter smiled. "Hmm that's something different Jon, It would be alot better than keeping this thing on". Lifting up his sheild. He walked back over to Shadow and took his shield. It would be good to try with it. He show the look on his horse's face, and Peter shook his head. Peter walked back over and gripped his sword with both hands. He smiled again, his one good eye keeping lock on Jon. He wonder if the trick Aslan had showed him would work on Jon. It might not, Jon was a skilled fighter and would never let his guard down, but Peter would try it anyways, it was fun.

Jon raised an eyebrow as he watched Peter putting his shield away. And I have a bad feeling, he thought with sudden doom. He gripped the handle of his sword tightly. "Just what do you think you're doing sire?" he asked suspicously with a grin. His light blue eyes were locked on Peter. They were alert. Never had he once let down his guard when he was dueling. All right there was that one time where he was training with Peter the first time they set foot in Narnia. "Do you remember the first time we met sire?" Jon asked with a laugh. "I had challenge you to a duel and you won by a lucky shot?" he was only twenty when that event happened, although it was fresh in his mind.
