It was a warm afternoon and the sun was high on the sky. Akira raised her head to look at the cloudless blue sky for several minutes before continuing walking. She pulled her light cloak tighter as she continued walking with her head down. After the battle, Akira had changed. She was a bit more quiter and spend time with herself. And Edmund whenever he wasn't busy with other stuff. She sighed as her eyes were filling up with sparkling tears. Her father had died from poison and her mother was suddenly ill. That left Akira to work with Peter and helping him with the problems and the council. Akira didn't mind though. It kept her busy with the current events going on.
She flinched as her wrist pulled on a half healed wound. Stupid Soren, she thought severally. How dare you kill my father and make my mother ill? Akira knew that he was the one behind Akio's death. Her mouth was pulled in a stubborn line as she remembered how a few guards of his had taken her before the battle. She was truely frightened of him before, and she was frightened of him now.
Try as she might, Akira couldn't forget the threats he had made. Including when he threatened to give her to his men. She shivered in fear as she thought of what might have happened if he did. Edmund would have gone crazy, she thought as a few tears leaked from her eyes and rolled down her face. Akira didn't want Edmund to go on a killing spree. I should have kept my mouth shut, she thought. Its my fault that my father's dead. Its my fault that mother is now ill.
She suddenly froze as a thought occured. What if something would have happened to Edmund. She didn't want to think about that. She was just grateful that he didn't have to go into battle with Peter and Soren. Akira flinched and she rubbed her neck where it flammed suddenly. Ow ow ow, she thought as more tears flowed from the pain. Soren stop it! Akira thought as she collaspe onto the ground. She curdled up into a ball.
It took a few moments for the pain to stop. When it finally did, Akira slowly stood and looked around. She had came to the lamp post where the four Pevensies had entered Narnia. She sighed and shook her head. Her brown eyes had a dead look in them as she sat down in front of the lamp post. She drew up her legs and wrapped her arms around her knees. Akira laid her head on her knees and was lost in thought. [ooc: yes I now type longer posts and you might wanna refer to the rising of the new kinf in the old thread section Eddie]

It was a lovely warm day; the sun was shinning in the sky, as bright as ever. Edmund Pevensie or should I say King Edmund, the Just? He hadn’t seen his siblings for a long time; his life had been full of training, training for battle that was just around the corner. Edmund galloped through the forest, his horse Moon was galloping along, his hooves hitting the soft ground in a rhythm, animals and birds hurried out of the way of the on coming King as he went, so talking to him as they ran with him, Edmund laughed, galloping on.
The wind blew through his hair as he found himself in familiar territory; the trees looked the same as they had done all those moons ago when the children had first entered Narnia. He saw a figure sitting on the ground, sitting in front of the lamppost that seemed to always be there and never go away; well it wouldn’t because it was a lamppost…duh.
He trotted over to the figure, seeing the hair, seeing the face, he recognised her as Akira, she didn’t look happy, he hadn’t seen her in ages, what was she doing here all alone? ”Akira.” he said softly, jumping off Moon and letting him go to eat grass, stepping carefully so to not trip over his cloak and to not startle her.
”You alright?” he asked.

Akira snapped her head up and her eyes immediately brightened at once. "Edmund!" Akira scrambled to her feet and leaped at him. Her arms were wrapped around his waist in a tight hug. She buried her head in his chest, trying not to cry. She took a deep breath and withdrew her head after a few mintues with tears in her eyes. "I'm..." she paused, looking up at him. "Not...so...good," she added truthfully. Akira took a deep breath. "Remember at the battle when you rode up and yelled at me to go back to Cair Paravel?" she hesitated, biting down on her lower lip. "T-two of S-soren's men took me into their camp. H-he told me that he was going to posion Peter while fighting. There were a lot of frightening moments..." here was the part that she didn't like telling Edmund. But she had to. "Soren...threatened to give me to his men...for a good time if I didn't shut up," she was shaking by this point and it was hard for her to stop.
"He also said that...if I say anything to anyone that he'll kill those I love. And my father's already dead...and my mother could be heading the same way...and you could be as well," Akira paused for a moment to catch her breath and looked at him carefully. "And I don't want that to happen." she leaned her head against his chest and closed her eyes. "I love you to much to let that happen." she sighed in relief, finally getting all of that out in the open. "But I'm not going to back down Edmund. I'm not letting Soren having the satisfaction if seeing us apart from each other," there was softness in her eyes. Tears started filling up again. "I know I haven't been going to court like I should. But I'm frightened Edmund. I'm frightened that he'll appear and do something worse. I know no one hasn't been able to find him since the battle." all of her worry thoughts poured out of her. The ones that she has kept bottled in her since the battle began.
It took a while for her to say what was on her mind. "And now I'm scared Ed. I'm scared that he'll slip into Cair Paravel and kill me." Akira felt at peace for the words coming out of her mouth. It had been a while since she had last talked to Ed. "When was the last time we have been like this?" she murmured. "Being alone together. Just the two of us," she needed the time with him. Just the two of them. And not to mention a few guards as well. akira rolled her eyes at the thought. "I love you Edmund,"

Edmund nearly got strangled by Akira as she scrabbled to her feet and gave him a massive, and tight hug around his waist, he nearly fell over because of the full force of it was overpowering and he didn’t realize she would be that in the mood to hug him. She buried her head in his chest and he glanced down at her, frowning. She began to cry as she looked up at him.
”Akira, don’t cry.” he muttered, stroking her hair lightly with his right hand, the other hanging limp at his side. He heard what she said, this Soren person was someone who had hurt her, hurt her and her family and might hurt him? Ha... ”I know Akira, I know.” he muttered, stepping away from her and looking down on her. ”Look, Soren hasn’t been seen for ages, maybe he is dead, you don’t know.” he said, turning away and walking towards the lamppost, putting one hand on it and running it down it.
The light in the lamp was still burning like it always would, he stared into it as if transfixed by the light that shinned so brightly down on them two even with the sun which was high in the sky. ”Isn’t it a beauty.” he muttered, he really wasn’t in the mood to be all lovely dovey with Akira, he had other important things on his mind.
”I’ve been thinking, me and my fellow siblings might have to leave Narnia.” well, that wasn’t exactly true, his siblings didn’t but Edmund was having strange feelings that maybe it was their time to leave.

Akira took a deep breath, watching as Edmund lightly stepped from her hold. She shook her head. "He's out there Edmund. I have a feeling that he's out there..." she let her voice trailed off, her heart beating rather loudly. What was wrong with him? she wandered to herself. "Ed...whats wrong?" her voice sounded strangled in her ears. She reached out and laid a hand on his shoulder. Her breath caught. "No Edmund," she said sternly, her voice filled with hurt and her eyes filled with pain. "You and your silbings don't need to leave," she walked forward, covering the few inches in between them. "Edmund, please. You can't leave Narnia. You said it yourself you don't know how to get back."
She closed her eyes and a few tears rolled down her face. "If you're thinking about going, well then I'm coming with you," Akira told him sternly. "I can't be away from you...not now. Not this time around. Please Edmund," She couldn't bear the thought of living without Edmund. Expecially in times like this. "Ed...please, look at me. What is going on with you? I won't leave you and you can't leave me," Akira blinked away tears that threatened to spill. "Whatever's on your mind, Ed, we can talk it through. Just..don't leave..." she took a deep and shaky breath.
She had to try and get him to stay in Narnia. What would become of Narnia while the four Pevensies are gone? What would happen to her? "Edmund Pevensie," the words caught in her throat. Her eyes burned with fresh tears. Her hand was laid on his shoulder still. [ooc: oh no your notttttttttt leaving xd]
