Character Name: Maiden Cassandra
Age: 17
Gender: female
Height: 5'7"
General Appearance: Cassandra is athletically built. She's not as skinny as one could guess, as she loves wearing her brother's shirts, which are quite a bit bigger than her own, and which effectively hide most of her upper body. For a young lady, she does have slight muscles on her upper arms and lower calves.
Her eyes are gray, but since they usually reflect the light, the color ranges from light to dark gray. Her facial features are soft but worn from hard work. She has semi full lips that curve just slightly upward, giving the impression of an everlasting smile.
Her hair is long and the color of cornsilk. She usually wears it pulled back in a loose ponytail, otherwise it is hanging around her shoulders with the faintest suggestion of curls.
Personality: Cassandra is a spirited young Narnian. As the youngest of four children (and as the only female in the bunch), she quickly learned how to defend herself at an early age. Living without a mother and with five men tends to rub off on impressionable young girls, but the female in Cassandra never really left. Once she started to bloom, her personality changed as well as her appearance and she became much more even-tempered and lady-like.
Cassandra is, in general, a very kind maiden. Since she grew up in a small settlement in Narnia, she's very open to other people, but, as consequence for living in a house with only men for 14 years of her life, she's grown to resent and perhaps even hate the Calormene people.
History: Cassandra was unfortunately born in the middle of the White Witch's reign over Narnia to an Elfen couple, who already had four boys. Her mother, Lady Elizabeth, died when Cassandra was only 3 years old, leaving her in the care and protection of her father and brothers. She grew up with the five men and learned things through their eyes.
At age 16, High King Peter, King Edmund, Queen Lucy and Queen Susan came to Narnia's aid and, while Cassandra's family immediately joined their ranks to fight the war, Cassandra was forbidden even going near Aslan's camp (which she ignored and ended up fighting with them).

Cassandra walked along the River Rush, constantly looking down into the depths of it's clear, cool water. There was nothing there. She'd often heard that there were water sprites in the Rush, but she'd never seen them herself. She wondered vaguely what would happen if she angered them. She wondered how she could anger them. She wondered if she wanted to anger them.
As she neared her small settlement, she looked to Cair Paravel to see it's many flags swaying in the breeze and it's shiny walls glimmering softly in the setting sun. I wonder how the High King and his siblings are enjoying their first night as noblemen..., she thought, leaning against a tree and twirling a small buttercup in her hand. All of a sudden, a noise came from behind her.
She snapped her head to the side, looking into the dark woods at a glance, only to feel someone pulling her down onto the ground from her feet. She kicked at them and they let go, laughing. A laugh she knew. "Adrian, you really are annoying, you know that?" she asked her eldest brother angrily, scrambling to her feet. Adrian laughed and answered, "Why, of course, my dearest, I live to annoy you."
Cassandra huffed and rolled her eyes, pushing his shoulder and walking away, pretending to be mad. No matter what her brothers did, she could never stay mad at them for long.
